Since 2003, Cobra Power Systems has been dedicated to manufacturing high-quality, custom generator enclosures designed to protect critical power equipment for the long term.

Cobra Power Systems began in a small facility in Linden, New Jersey, where a dedicated team focused on producing custom generator enclosures built to a higher standard. As our customers’ needs evolved, so did we. We expanded our capabilities to offer complete enclosure solutions, including integrated fuel tanks and lift bases, giving customers a trusted, single-source solution for their custom generator enclosure requirements.

Our experience in emergency power systems and aftermarket generator components gave us a unique perspective on the industry. We saw firsthand that many aftermarket enclosures were deteriorating long before the generators they protected had reached the end of their useful lives. Because the engine-generator set is the heart of any power system, we believed the enclosure protecting it should be engineered and built to last just as long.

That philosophy led to the development of our Eagle all-aluminum enclosure system.

Growing Through Innovation

As demand for our custom enclosures grew, we recognized that our labor-intensive manufacturing process needed to evolve. In 2006, Cobra Power Systems invested in a state-of-the-art CNC plasma cutting machine, increasing our manufacturing capacity fivefold.

We continued to expand our capabilities by adding specialized machinery, increasing component production, and incorporating prefabricated trim into our manufacturing process. These investments allowed us to improve efficiency, increase production capacity, and maintain the quality our customers had come to expect.

In 2015, we moved into our current facility in Millstone, New Jersey. Our 10,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, situated on a four-acre property, provides the space and infrastructure necessary to manage the complete enclosure manufacturing process under one roof.

Today, our facility allows us to manufacture panels, build complete enclosures, install trim, handcraft specialty panels, and prepare finished projects for shipment.
